Providence-based GTECH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Italy's Lottomatica, one of the world's largest commercial lottery operators, stated that the three-year deal will run through November of 2012 and see its products and services utilised in the province of Buenos Aires.<br/><br/> "GTECH is committed to its customers," said Jaymin Patel, President and Chief Executive Officer for GTECH. "We look forward to continuing our partnership with Boldt Gaming, which began more than 15 years ago. We have a cohesive plan in place to assist IPLC in expanding its retailer base to more than 6,000 locations with the deployment of 2,250 new Imagine lottery terminals over the next three years. "Today's announcement also represents the tenth lottery customer to extend its contract with GTECH this year. This is a strong endorsement of GTECH's focus on strengthening customer relationships through superior service delivery and attention to customer priorities."<br/><br/> The extension will see the Rhode Island firm provide approximately 2,250 Imagine GT1100 online lottery terminals to IPLC's existing base of 4,000 GTECH-provided machines.
